Born and raised in Bloomington, IL, I've lived in various cities throughout the midwest, including St. Louis and Chicago, and now currently in St. Paul, MN.  I spend a good part of my free-time taking in the local music scene, which has allowed me to keep my finger on the pulse of musical trends, as well as providing inspiration for my compositions.  My main musical interest are indie rock, emo, trance, as well as death/drudge metal. 

My mid-west upbringing has allowed me to bring a practical business sensibility to the composing process.  I'm able to bridge the gap between musical self-indulgence and the needs of the project at hand, allowing the vision of the client to guide my creativity.  As a composer, I have the ability to evoke a particular emotional response from the listener in a subtle way that doesn't draw attention to itself.  The music should never pull attention away from the overall project, but merely enhance it.
